What are standard admission requirements for Troy University?
Standard admission requirements are an 18 on the ACT, or an 870 on the SAT with a 2.0 grade point average. If you are 21 or older you will need to produce a G.E.D. or High School diploma. No ACT score is required for admission. Transfer students from an accredited institution must have an overall 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Can I be admitted into Troy University on a conditional basis?
If your high school grade point average is less than a 2.0, then you must have an 18 on the ACT, or an 870 on the SAT to be conditionally admitted. If you have less than an 18 (but not less than a 15) or less than an 870 (but not less than a 740), then you must have a grade point average of a 2.3 or better. Transfer students from an accredited institution must have an overall 1.70 to 1.99 to be admitted conditionally.

No, all degree programs are four years.

No, neither of these scholarships is recognized by Troy at this time
Are freshmen required to live on campus?
Yes, at this time all freshmen under 19 years of age are required to live on Troy’s campus.

What do I do if I have sent everything in and received nothing back on my status for admission?
Please send your name, social security number, and semester that you are applying for in an email to admit@troy.edu. You may also contact the Office of Admissions at 800-551-9716.
How and when can I schedule a campus tour?
There are three tour times available during the week for students. Saturday visits are scheduled throughout the year. To schedule a tour you may call the Admissions Office or register online.
