Meet Our Staff
Oliver Aaron
Director of IMPACT and Special Programs
Admissions Counselor
Originally from Dadeville, Alabama, Oliver attended Central Alabama community college in Alexander City for three semesters before he transferred to Auburn University. At Auburn he earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2006. He is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Administration of Higher Education and plans to graduate in May 2008.
During his years as an undergraduate, Oliver served as a Student Recruiter, a freshman and transfer orientation leader, and worked in the Student financial Services office for three years. As a graduate student, he has worked in university housing and residence life. This past summer he had the opportunity to complete an internship at DePaul University in the Office of Academic Enhancement, where he worked with new student orientation.
Oliver hopes to use his experience in Student Affairs to help prospective college students make educated decisions that will impact their college experience, their careers, and their personal lives. And he hopes to encourage growth and lasting traditions here at Troy University.
Advice Oliver shares with prospective students: “Take the opportunities during your first couple of semesters on campus to get involved with different organizations. Get outside of your comfort zone and experience everything that Troy University has to offer.”
