Pat Launius Federinko has taught both Art and English for over 25 years in colleges and universities in Alabama and Georgia. Pat's primary interests are in ceramics, drawing and painting. She has taught online courses for eight years along with traditional classroom instruction. Pat loves her Mac and has great interest in writing fiction and art-related non-fiction. She was responsible for revising the 6th edition instructor's manual for the popular LIVING WITH ART textbook, authored by Mark Getlein and published by McGraw-Hill. Pat subsequently authored the 7th edition of the text and wrote a menotiring essay aobut teaching art online for the same text's 8th edition acillaries.
Pat hopes to author her own textbook for Visual Arts but first is working on a science-fiction novel. Pat and her husband, Richard Federinko, have three college-aged children.
