Greg Skaggs brings a valuable mix of collaborative and integrated experiences to the Department of Art and Design. He is just as comfortable generating a Flash animation as he is constructing a large canvas piece. Mr. Skaggs has taught art at the public school level, the technical college level and the university level and has excelled in each venue. He has won numerous honors for both his fine art work and his graphic design work and is a superb illustrator. Greg Skagg's current body of work addresses a visual juxtaposition between the innocence of a child and the violence that is created by our modern society. In turn, violent tendencies of children are often acted out through play. Though not a blatant attempt at pointing out the inconsistencies with our modern culture, his work does contain conceptual clues that the viewer will be able to recognize and make a connection. jgskaggs@troy.edu 334.670.3375 Skaggs online!
