Foundational
Courses of Study
The foundation courses at TROY are considered the "boot camp"
of the program. The
objective of these courses is to set the pace and provide the students
with the basics of art and design while learning cutting-edge technology.
Due to the unique nature of our approach to art and design instruction,
transfer students should speak to a faculty advisor before applying to
the program.
Foundation courses are:
Introductory Drawing, e-Drawing, Foundations
of Form & Space, Foundations of Time & Space, Color & Technology, and Art History 1 & 2.
For
those wishing to apply to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Studio
Art, it is recommended that you contact an academic advisor and download
the BFA Admission Guidelines here.
