AFTER GRADUATION
Many career options are now available to you in the field sciences. There are jobs available in both the public and private sectors, such as federal and state agencies and industry. This Concentration also provides you with the background for additional graduate studies. A graduate degree in Ecology and Field Biology opens up even more career paths. Admission to graduate school is competitive and is based on a number of factors including undergraduate GPA (Grade Point Average) as well as GRE (Graduate Record Exam) scores.
UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH
Troy University's Biological and Environmental Sciences Faculty are involved in a variety of research projects. Many of these projects involve undergraduate students. Undergraduate research experience can increase a student's chances for future employment and/or acceptance into graduate schools.
Students are encouraged to gain research experience by participating in research projects of the faculty. For more information on undergraduate research opportunities visit the department's undergraduate research page.
