Full Program: June 4 to July 27

Four-Week Programs: June 4 to June 29
  July 2 to July 27

Would you like to study English by combining classroom work with outside participation in American culture? Troy University’s American English Group may have just what you are looking for.

Our program offers two four-week sessions of classes and computer work in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, and Grammar, along with trips to Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Atlanta, and the white sand beaches of the Gulf Coast, as well as other trips and activities. Last summer, we sailed into the Gulf of Mexico, attended a rodeo, learned country dance steps, and had a sushi party, among other fun and exciting experiences.

While on campus, you will be a student at Troy University, with all the access to sports and cultural activities that means. You’ll have a swimming pool, fitness center, sports fields, student center, and this summer a full-size Barnes and Noble Bookstore will open with a Starbucks Coffee lounge.

You will have a chance to learn about American and local culture by seeing and experiencing it. You will visit places and see things most people only read about. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to develop your English ability in a concentrated program of study. This means you will gain both memories and skills that will last your entire life. What better way to spend your summer?
