Graduate Admissions
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
The following credentials must be received by the Center for International Programs at least two months prior to admission:
I. A completed Application Form.

II. Official transcript and diploma/certification from undergraduate university indicating completion of the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree in the U.S. The transcript and diplomar/certification must be translated into English; translation must be certified for accuracy.
III.Test of English as a Foreign Language [TOEFL] score. Minimum acceptable score is 523 paper based, 197 computer based or 70 IBT based. The official copy of the score report must be received by International Admissions Office directly from ETS before your arrival to TROY.

IV. You may submit IELTS score instead of TOEFL. Minimum acceptable score is 6.0.

IV. Unconditional,Conditional and Temporary Admissions
1. For Unconditional Admission satisfactory score on one of the following:
Graduate Records Examination [GRE] score. Minimum acceptable composite score on the GRE is 850.
GMAT score. Minimum acceptable composite score is 450.
2. Temporary Admission
International students who have not taken the GMAT or GRE exams may be granted conditional admission. They must complete the required exam by the end of their first semester in residence.
3. Conditional Admission
International students who have not achieved the required minimum score on the GRE or GMAT examinations or whose grade point average on their undergraduate work is too low to qualify for unconditional admission may be granted temporary admission. Temporary admitted students must achieve a 3.0 GPA by the time they have completed 12 semester hours of work or they will be dismissed from the program.
V. A detailed statement of financial status that clearly documents your ability to finance your studies at Troy University. This statement must show a minimum of $14,500 available per academic year and must be current.
U.S. Sponsors must fill out for I-134 Affidavit of Support.
V. Application fee of $50.
VI. A photo copy of passport or national ID
Note 1: Upon arrival, all new graduate students must take the American English Group assessment test battery regardless of their TOEFL score.
Note 2: For students completing the three-year baccalaureate degree, the Troy program would mandate at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate course work to be completed with an average grade point average of 2.5. All courses will be selected by the student's graduate program advisor and will be directly related to the intended graduate program. Bridge program students will not be allowed to repeat courses that they had taken at the undergraduate level in their home country. This course work will have to be completed prior to entry into the graduate program at TROY.
