2008 State of Alabama Intramural
Flag Football Tournament
Tournament Information
Who: The tournament is not restricted to a number of teams from any one school or to campus champions. It is open to junior colleges, community colleges, and, four-year universities. All teams are eligible and welcome.
The tournament will be host by:
•Collegiate Men's division
When: October 31-November 2, 2008.
Where: Lower and Upper IM Fields on Troy University – Troy campus
Early Entry Fee (must be postmarked by October 20): $170 per team
Late Entry Fee (must be postmarked by October 24): $195 per team
•Please make business or certified checks (no personal checks) or money orders payable to TROY University Intramural Sports Department
Deadline: Entry forms and payment must be postmarked by Friday, October 24, 2008.

Format:
•Games will be officiated according to NIRSA rules.
•All teams will participate in pool play (Saturday) and advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket (Sunday). Each team is guaranteed at least 2 games.
•Game time is forfeit time. Men teams must have at least 5 players present and ready to play to start a game
Equipment:
•Teams must provide their own jerseys with numbers on both front and back.
•Flag belts will be provided for each game.
Medical: Certified Athletic Trainers will be on duty during all tournament games.
