Graduates with the comprehensive science education major complete 50 hours of required science courses (listed below), 28 hours of professional education courses, and 52 hours of General Studies courses (including Biology I and Chemistry I and labs). Comprehensive Science Education MajorThis major is for students who want to teach science in secondary schools. Biology II and Lab Genetics and Lab General Chemistry II and Lab Organic Chemistry and Lab Modern Physics and Lab Earth and Space Science and Lab Principles of Astronomy One of the following series: General Physics I and II and Labs OR Physics with Calculus I and II and Labs 15 hours of approved upper level Chemistry, Physics, or Biology.
