Chrystal Logan, BSN (ASN 1996)
Wetumpka, AL:
Employed by Troy University School of Nursing as

down and take advantage of all the great things around us or it will
all be gone in the haste.

Jeannie Coker,
BSN
Lowndesboro, AL: District Registered School Nurse for Lowndes County
Public Schools.
I am
a mother of 2 children. Case, which some of you may remember, is now 7
and attends school at Lowndes Academy. Madalyne is going to be 5 this
September and is also at Lowndes Academy. I am currently thinking
about going back to Troy for my masters. Once I graduated from school,
I worked in NICU for about 2 years. I then tried my luck as a surgical
nurse. Needless to say, I did not mesh well in the surgical field.
After that I worked with an OB-Gyn doc for about two years. I worked
in hospice and I have been a school nurse for the past 3 years. So,
maybe I have found my place. I love my job because it works well with
my family's schedule.
Paula Dansby, BSN
Eufaula, AL:
We have moved home to Eufaula. Our oldest son, Nicholas, got married last
October (no he is not old enough to be married!!!) and has moved to
Tuscaloosa where his wife is a student at The University. The girls are
both in high school and doing well. Our youngest son is in the 6th grade
and we are excited! Only 6 more years and the youngest will go to college.
There is light at the end of the tunnel! Of course, then we have to
consider all the college tuition. That very thought has been one of the
primary motivators for me to begin the journey to the MSN FNP. Well,
college tuition and the fact that several of our local physicians refer to
me as "Dr. Dansby" as I sometimes, in my efforts to be a good nurse and
anticipate what the physician may need, practice a little medicine of my
own. I enrolled part time this fall (2006) along the MSN tract and so far
continue to be excited. Wish me luck!!!
