BSN Scholarships Awarded Annually
Applications for all scholarships are due by April 1 of each academic year.
Please contact Dr. Bernita Hamilton, Director of the School of Nursing, for more information.
- Helen H. McKinley Excellence in Nursing Scholarship. One scholarship in the amount of $1600 for the academic year will be awarded. Preference for this award will be given to a senior nursing student.
- Lois Watkins Perpetual Memorial Nursing Fund. One scholarship in the amount of $330 for the academic year is available. Preference is given to a student from Pike County for this fund.
- Prattville Voiture Locale 1542 Nursing Scholarship. This scholarship totals $450 for the academic year. Preference is given to a nursing student who lives in Autauga County. Second priority is given to an applicant who lives in Montgomery, Elmore, or Chilton counties. Recipients must have an overall and last quarter GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- TROY Foundation Nursing Scholarships. The School of Nursing is awarding ten additional TROY Foundation Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. These ten scholarships are divided between the ASN and BSN Programs. The criteria for these BSN scholarships are as follows:
- Currently enrolled in the BSN Program Clinical Nursing Sequence
- Successfully completed the first semester of the BSN Clinical Nursing Sequence
- Achieved an overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
