INNER SPIRIT
You must keep your mind open. An open mind is one that begs to be filled. You’ve probably heard this before, but never thought of it in terms of self-motivation.
In a world where ideas are constantly changing, keeping an open mind is one of the best ways to remain self motivated as a leader. Will you be open to ideas which may “rub you the wrong way” and are you willing to ask the question-a trait which separates leaders from followers(ask yourself “why do I dislike this idea/concept”). All people have feelings, preferences, attitudes, and stereotypes, but the leader looks beyond these things both in him/her self and others to find the best in others, their thoughts, ideas, feelings and backgrounds.
Where can inner spirit be found?
Some call it religion, some call it piece of mind, others just call it drive and motivation. What moves you? What captures your fancy and your attention and “motivates” you to action.
Do you constantly strive to be the best….or are you willing to take second place? Do you find yourself keeping up with the Joneses, or are you a Jones?
Most importantly, can you ask these questions, reflect on the answers you give and not feel down but rather excited and, “Go For It!”
Self Motivation can be found just where the name implies….inside yourself. Find your Inner Spirit and let it grow and drive you to greatness.
