The Office of University Records provides academic and administrative support for students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff as it relates to student academic records.

How to Apply for Graduation:
To apply for graduation, complete an Intent to Graduate by published deadlines for the term of degree completion. The Intent to Graduate can be picked up in the Registrar's Office. A $50 fee is required when filing.


Graduation Application Deadlines
Check with your home location for deadline filing dates and official Commencement dates for your location.

Graduation with Honors
 Honors will be computed based on the average of all hours attempted at Troy University and transfer credit, excluding any remedial courses. The last term of enrollment is NOT calculated towards graduation honors.

Academic Honors
Cum Laude - 3.40-3.59 GPA; Magna Cum Laude - 3.60-3.79; Summa Cum Laude - 3.80-4.00.

How to Change Student Information:

Name Change Request
You may complete the appropriate forms in the Office of the Registrar or submit a written request. Please include: student number or social security number, your name prior to the change, your new name, date of birth, and your signature.

Address Change Request
You may complete the appropriate forms in the Office of the Registrar or submit a written request. Please include: name, student number, or social security number, your new address with an indication if it is permanent or local, telephone number, and your signature.
