Biology Summer Workshop
June 2007
(Beginning Teachers, Level II Teachers, and Advanced Teachers)
The workshops are available to all secondary science teachers. You will be performing laboratory activities developed for high school students and each lab has been correlated with the AHSGE and the Science Course of Study. In the workshops you will be using quality science equipment such as the Leica ATC 2000 Compound Microscope, Edvotek Gel Electrophoresis Equipment, Automatic Calibrated Pipets, and other scientific equipment. Once you have finished the week-long workshop you and your students are entitled to have the labs and equipment delivered to your school. By devoting a week of your time this summer, you will be saving yourself lots of time during the school year. This is SO EASY and SO CONVENIENT for you as a science teacher. You have already performed the labs, you know they work, you do not have to gather any supplies or equipment, everything is delivered and ready for your class to use. Come join your colleagues and enjoy this week of learning new labs and using new equipment!! It really is fun!
Your lodging (if necessary), meals, & mileage will be paid and you also receive a $50.00 stipend each day!!!! What more could you ask for?
