Troy University Student Government Association
Five leaders are chosen from the Trojan community each spring to lead the Troy University's Student Government Association. The student body elects these individuals to lead them, address their concerns, and implement the changes the student body deems necessary on campus. The members of the executive council devote countless hours to the welfare of the student body, striving to promote Trojan pride in all they do.

Office: Freshman Forum Director
Hometown: Pensacola, FL
Major: Political Science with minors in Leadership and Business Administration
Classification: Sophomore
Why you came to Troy: I chose TROY because of the size, location, and people. I like the fact that that I could wake in the morning and head right to class; I don’t have to rush and drive to campus and then ride around for 20 minutes in search of a parking spot. Troy is a very interesting place to live. Moving from a big city to a smaller one is a cool experience. It is really cool to see how different people from smaller towns find fun things to do when there seems like there is nothing at all to do. TROY is also central to everything in the city of Troy; nothing is too far. I also like the people at TROY. From the Chancellor to the professors to the students, everyone here is cool and personable. If I have to ask a question the faculty and staff are easily accessible. The teachers are also very friendly and receptive to their students as compared to teachers of much larger universities.
Activities and Honors: Freshman Forum: President and Mr. Freshman Forum, Trojan Ambassador, Baptist Campus Ministries: Campus Involvement Chair, Pre-Law Society.
Career Ambitions: After graduating from TROY, I plan on attending law school at Cumberland Law School. When I graduate from law school, I plan on going into politics; hopefully becoming the governor of Florida.
Words of Encouragement to Fellow Trojans: I would encourage my fellow Trojans to stay involved and stay true to Christ and who you are. You’ll quickly learn that life is not about what others think about you, it’s all about you doing what God has called you to do. While at TROY, remember to school is your first priority and then everything else. When you feel like you have nowhere else to turn, remember: “Fear not; for I am with you. Be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.” –Isaiah 41:10
